Bonarka City Center is located in Krakow in Podgórze district on the terrain of former Chemical Factory Bonarka. To create a friendly social space it was necessary to provide the land with fundamental reclaim. A trade and service complex equipped with multi-storey car-park, because of its size was designed as a composition of few cubical volumes merged together by spacious arc-shaped passages. Glass surfaces covering the roof was designed to provide the interior with the biggest amount of daylight. Façades are finished with durable materials which reflect to postindustrial character of the terrain. The complex because of proper design of its surroundings became an attractive in terms of architectural and spatial object in the southern part of city. From the functional point of view Bonarka City Center is a shopping mall with cinemas, restaurants, cafes equipped with parking space, essential technical supply and administration.
