Hotel Andels is situated in highly important part of Krakow’s urban fabric . In such prestigious plot building becomes the first noticeable element in Krakow urban masterplan – the New City. Representative front façade consists of rising volumes is dominant form from perspective of popular underground passage. Hotel closes composition of Jan Nowak-Jezioranski Square, neighbours with Galeria Krakowska and former main train station. Architectural form was strictly narrowed by the plot boarders and law restrictions which determined heights and levels of cornices. Characteristic vertical divisions were implemented on elevations. Furthermore there were finished with noble materials such as stone and titanium zink metal sheets.
